Heritage around Removille

This list of activities goes from the closest to the furthest from the gîte, but by car, everything is allowed!

  • The birthplace of Joan of Arc in Domrémy-La-Pucelle: her house, the Johannine centre and the village (three-day May festival, “Domrémy in May”, where the village is set in medieval times, with its pomp, its shields and its trades of the time, a change of scenery guaranteed!)
  • The archaeological site of Grand: amphitheatre and mosaic, workshops, historical reconstructions and shows.
  • The enigma fort at Mont-les-Neufchâteau.
  • Toul and its festivities for the 800th anniversary of its Cathedral, but also its remains of an old fort and its ramparts.
  • The Hautes-Mynes at Le Thillot.
  • Metz and Verdun.

  • Mirecourt: museum of lute-making and bow-making, of mechanical music, and its brand new Place du Général de Gaule.
